Massage
Definition - the manipulation of soft tissue for therapeutic purposes:
Six classical massage movements - therpeutic value of each.
- Effleurage, Petrissage, Tapotement, Hacking, Cupping and Kneading (including wringing and skin rolling) Friction
- Client care and modesty - towel draping
- Massage medium - oil and talcum powder
- How to set up a practice
- Home visiting
- Record keeping
- Taking case histories
